In lieu of a final exam, you are creating a “body book “ as a final project
Your book must have:
1) A Cover ( 5 points)
2) An index of chapters (5 Points)
3) A “chapter” on each of the following organ systems:
Skeletal
Muscle
Integumentary
Circulatory
Respiratory
Immune
Digestive
Excretory
Nervous
Endocrine
Reproductive
4) A comprehensive bibliography of any and all sources you used!! ( 10 points)
Each chapter must include:
A picture of that organ system and the major organs of which it is composed. This picture must be hand drawn. (15 points)
A type written explanation of how that system functions and how each organ specifically helps the system perform, and how that system interacts with other systems (15 points)
3-5 interesting facts about the system (typewritten) ( 5 good facts gives you 5points- 3 gives you 3points)
A summary of a specific disease of that system (typewritten) .( 15 points)
How that system interrelates with other systems ( 5points)
How you will be graded:
- That you have included all major organs of each organ system
- That your write up of the system and disease associated with it is accurate and explains the structure and function of each system comprehensively
-That you have adequate facts -
That your drawings are hand drawn, accurate, and detailed....You will not be graded on your creativity or artistic acumen, but your drawings must have some semblance of the real thing.
