III Honors Math    2005-2006

    Welcome to III Honors Math. This course is a comprehensive precursor to Advanced Placement Calculus which students take in their senior year. Topics include more than what is found in a traditional precalculus curriculum. The class should complete the precalculus book before the end of the third quarter, at which time students will take on the challenge of differential calculus, covering the first three chapter of the calculus book. The final exam will cover only the calculus material.

   Quarterly grades are determined by test scores (80%) and completion of daily homework (20%). Each student has an assignment sheet with numbered assignments. Current assignments and due dates, starting with the beginning of the third quarter, are listed below:
