ENGLISH BASIC
Fulfills English requirement, continues to focus on basic language skills if the student's goals have not yet been reached, and MCAS preparation. The student's challenges in language are addressed, including the areas of writing, reading, vocabulary, spelling, and speaking. Basic competency is stressed and activities are designed to develop independence in communications.
