HONORS GEOMETRY
5 Credits Full Year
Prerequisite: Algebra I or Algebra I A&B. Consent of Math Department.
Topics covered include introduction to proof logic, parallels and polygons, congruence, perimeter, area volume, similarity, circles, trigonometry and applications. Increased emphasis on formal proofs and completion of Geometry Problems of the Week help to differentiate this course from the College 1 or 2 level.
