Rubrics

Quarterly grades are calculated based the following rubrics.

Algebra I (STAR)

	Weight	Rubrics
Homework	25%	Individual assignment scores are based on the quantity of relevant work completed.  See a full discussion of the homework policy here.
Classwork	25%	Scores on written assignments are based on a combination of completeness and correct work; class participation and engagement in work are also key.  May not be calculated for the first quarter.
Tests	50%	Points are awarded on the basis of correct answers and work shown.  Expect three to four tests per quarter.

Algebra II C1

	Weight	Rubrics

Classwork	15%	Scores on written assignments are based on a combination of completeness and correct work; class participation and engagement in work are also key.  May not be calculated for the first quarter.
Tests	60%	Points are awarded on the basis of correct answers and work shown.  Expect three to four tests per quarter.
