Final Presentations
We will have the laptops on June 11,15,17 but you should also be working on these at home.
The projects will consist of the following components:
A written paper, half of which must be in French (1 1/2-2pages typed and double-spaced, 12 pt. font), addressing culture in one of the regions of France. Regions will be assigned in class on June 9. In your paper you must talk about the history, climate, industry, cuisine, music, theater, dance etc that is typical of the region, any famous people from that region and demonstrate how that region has contributed to French culture.
In addition to the written paper, you must have a visual (PowerPoint, video etc.) and a 5-6 minute presentation. You should have slides depicting the region and its contributions to French culture.
You papers and presentations will be graded according to the attached rubric.
Any student who cannot present the final project on June 24 must do a make-up presentation on June 26 or prior to exam period or you will not receive credit for the project, which is worth 25% of your term 4 grade and will serve as your final exam grade (10% of the year’s grade)
